In order to further popularize the knowledge of fire fighting and improve the staff's ability to deal with safety emergencies, on June 16th, the SHE Committee of Chengtai Machinery & Electricity invited the Songjiang District Fire Rescue Brigade to carry out the fire safety training for all the staff of the six companies in the electromechanical business line, including Shanghai Zhengcheng, Shanghai Zhengyi, Chengtai Rent-A-Car, Shanghai Zhenfuji, Shanghai Zhengmu, Shanghai Zhengxin, and so on.

NO.1 Lecture on Fire Fighting

The training mainly started from two aspects: fire fighting knowledge training and escape skill drills. During the training, Li Chaojie, the fire emergency training instructor, gave a theoretical lecture on fire classification, alarm, evacuation and escape, etc. Combined with the characteristics of summer fires and actual cases, he patiently and meticulously introduced the methods of extinguishing incipient fires, precautions for reporting fires, common sense of fire safety in escaping from fires, as well as the functions and usage of common fire fighting facilities and equipment.

Zhengda electromechanical SHE Committee Director, Shanghai Zhengcheng General Manager Zhang Hongfei attaches great importance to the work of production safety, he said: it is a great honor to invite the Songjiang Emergency Rescue Brigade on-site teaching and giving us such a vivid class. He emphasized that the responsibility for safety is heavier than Mount Tai! Each company, each department, each position should be alarmed, the monthly inspection should be put into practice, buckle the details, grasp the implementation, so as to achieve a comprehensive non-missing items; all staff should be established in the heart of the responsibility to fulfill their responsibilities, know the easy to do, to protect themselves, to protect their colleagues, to protect the company's property safety.

NO.2 Firefighting Practical Exercise

After the training session, a sharp and loud alarm sound opened the curtain of the practical drill. After hearing the alarm, the emergency teams of fire-fighting, search and rescue, and evacuation responded quickly, and all the employees covered their mouths and noses, fled the scene from the fire escape channel, and went to the safe evacuation point to wait, and the whole process of escape was rapid and orderly.

Subsequently, Zhang Chi, the captain of Songjiang District Fire and Rescue Brigade, commented and summarized the evacuation and escape drill activities, and led a close visit to the "Fire Fighting Chariot", which demonstrated the "weapons" and operation methods that need to be used for fire fighting and rescue. Employees took turns in the scene simulation fire point fire fighting operations, through close contact with the fire, improve the safety awareness of the fire and the ability to self-rescue and mutual aid. The solid and detailed theoretical course coupled with vivid and realistic practical exercises was entertaining and educational, and the employees expressed that they had benefited a lot from it.
