Project introduction

Jilin Zhengda Food Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Jilin Zhengda") is located in Yushu City, Jilin Province, with three major plants, namely slaughtering, seasoning and cooked food, and its broiler slaughtering capacity is designed to reach up to 100 million per year, and since the start of its operation in 2016, it has always been committed to providing high-quality food. Despite the relatively new production start-up and advanced automation level, Jilin Zhengda is still facing labor shortage and difficulty in employment in the face of the downward pressure of the global economy and the labor challenges brought by the epidemic in the past three years.

In order to reduce the dependence on labor and improve the production efficiency, in 2023, Jilin Zhengda joined hands with Shanghai Zhengxin to deploy three robotic automatic carton loading lines consecutively in the secondary packaging workshop of the deli plant. This project is the first automatic carton loading project independently undertaken by Shanghai Zhengxin. Under the cooperation and cooperation of all parties, the three production lines successfully passed the acceptance and were put into use, realizing the functions of automatic empty carton supply, automatic material supply and sorting, automatic identification and loading of cartons, automatic conveyance of full cartons, checking and sealing of cartons, and so on.

Application of automation technology

①Automatic supply of empty cartons: Equipped with automatic carton opener, the empty cartons are automatically transported to the carton loading area with accurate positioning, reducing manual operation.

②Automatic feeding and material handling: the material passes through the conveying belt and material handling roller line, and is automatically organized and conveyed to the gripping area to ensure that the material is neat.

③Automatic identification and carton loading: Adopting vision system and spider hand to collaborate, accurately identifying the position of materials, spider hand quickly grabbing and carton loading, which greatly improves the carton loading efficiency.

④ Full box automatic transportation, check weight and sealing: after the box is full, it is automatically transported to the check weight rejection device, unqualified products are rejected, and qualified products are automatically sealed, which makes the process smooth.

Advantages after remodeling

①Reduce labor: through the automation transformation, the number of production workers is reduced by about 60%, effectively alleviating the labor pressure.

② Improve production efficiency: spider hand instead of manual cartoning, three collaborative, stable and fast cartoning, small packages of products can be up to 130 packages / min cartoning speed.

③ Reduce labor intensity: the spider hand can work continuously for more than 14 hours a day, the post workers only need to supplement the empty cartons at the right time, inspect the production line, deal with the leakage of grabbing materials, quality inspection of unqualified products and equipment failure alarms, etc., which greatly reduces the labor intensity of the workers.

④Equipment depreciation to reduce construction costs: three production lines of carton opening machine, checkweighing rejector, sealing machine depreciation, reducing the cost of equipment procurement.
